Introduction
In this universe all beings including human beings, animals, beasts, birds, insects etc., are trying from the time immemorial to achieve tranquility and avoid sufferings. Human beings up to some extent acquire success in their efforts materially or spiritually. Other than human beings nobody can make efforts as they like being not with intelligence. Individual soul suffers in many births in numberless forms of different bodies as a result of its ill activities. What is main ill activity? Ill activity is to forget the Supreme Lord Who is very source of our lives. When we are engrossed by three modes of Nature we think that every thing in the world is for our enjoyment. It is our greatest mistake. There are places where punishment is given because of our heinous acts. Chief of these places is Yamaraj, the god of death. These places are known as Hells (Narakas). We should know those bad performances because of which jivas are thrown into these Hells (Narakas) and punishments are given by the servant of Yamaraj. In this booklet I have given details of twenty eight hells which are important. There are thousands of thousands hells below the earth and above water in the southern side of the earth. In many Puranas we find description about hells. Here we have given from Srimad Bhagavatam Mahapurana, the essence of all scriptures.
Supreme Personality of Godhead is very kind. He does not keep the evil souls always in hells. There is way to escape from hells. Readers of this book may go through and can come to know the way that can protect from the sufferings of hells.
I am sure that readers will stop ill activities after studying this treatise and start the worship of Lord Krishna under guidance of Spiritual Master within Vaishnava Sampradaya. Servants of Yamaraj can not take and punish those persons who lead their lives under guidance of Spiritual Master. In all Vedic Scriptures a need of acceptance of Spiritual Master is felt necessary. Without blessings of Divine Master nobody can protect himself from hells. Name of God should be chanted under guidance of spiritual guide. In this book it has been proved that chanting of names of God under guidance of Gurudeva, can protect us from hells.
